On May 1st, at Silvermoon Brewery, we were welcomed into Bend and the Central Oregon AdFed community, not by the number of awards received, but by the friendly and kind faces that were present. There was a constant stream of individuals introducing themselves to us and it was obvious we were embraced not as competitors, but as friends and peers. The work was celebrated not just by the recipient but by all. It was obvious that egos were left at the door or, hopefully, are non-existent here. Either way, it was a wonderful evening.

We were honored with a handful of Addys. We received 2 golds, 3 silvers and 1 bronze award for Chappellet Vineyards, Mingo Press, Pop Cooperative and Tulsa Opera. Three of the pieces were also recognized as Best of Category and received the "Hatchet" awards.

The organization added a new twist to the evening by asking a handful of recipients to share their respective creative process. We were asked to share about Mingo Press' May 16th Celebration direct mailer. It was a nice addition to an overall great evening.
